Mike-the key is thin coats. Thick coats waste product, IMO. Very little product actually adheres to the paint so why apply one thick coat? You could probably apply two thin coats in 30 minutes or less by applying a thin coat to each section then wiping off immediately.
 
Back in the old days, I applied thicker coats than I needed, mosty because I tried to move too fast. I can guarantee you I understand the thin coat/thick coat topic. :D



I did let it cure for about an hour however, I wanted to insure it was fully dry and I always had other things to do. For the prices I charged, even back then, I needed a flawless finish no matter what.
