Great to hear so many people discovering/REdiscovering #16.
George Wax- Thanks for that info about #16 holding up under the AZ sun, I'd always wondered about that. It always seemed to hold up better on black cars than its smell led me to expect.
blkZ28Conv- I always wait a day (or even until the next wash) to apply subsequent layers of #16. It DOES seem to layer in that adding a second coat a week later seems to give more than an extra week's worth of beading/looks/other indicators. It's not like you're ONLY replenishing whatever got lost in that week, if you know what I mean. Or at least that's the impression it gave me.
Dave Holmes- Using #16 as a topper on white sounds like JUST the application for it :xyxthumbs And I've never noticed any real issues with humid conditions, not that I'm in YOUR situation. #16 is NOT one of those finicky waxes that "sometimes just won't set up".
