Green dots and such

Anyone remember these? "Blue Dot" tail light lenses! :lmfao

They were highly popular back in the 60's... from a distance the taillight looked purple... illegal in many states....
They were popular and illegal back in the 40's and 50's in Iowa.
Blue Dot taillights were the reason I was first stopped and issued my first tickets. It was somewhat compounded by the fact that I was 14 years old and didn't have a driver's license. The highway patrolman that ticketed me was a class guy. In fact we became well acquainted over the next several years. Unfortunately, most of our visits ended up with me getting another ticket. At least in later years, I had a driver's license.

Almost forgot to answer the question.

What blue dots where? If you're referring to the very lower left hand corner of the post, green shows that if that memberis on the forum now and blue means they are not.

In my user cp where members had given reputation to a few of my posts there is a green square beside that post title and a description of the reason for the reputation given, but one member gave reputation but did'nt write a description of the reason why he gave the reputation. The little square beside that particular post title is blue instead of green. Just curious as to why one is blue.

I'm not sure exactly when it changes but I know that new members with few posts don't have enough "rep power" to effect yours. So when they give you some rep points it shows as a blue dot which means it didn't add to your rep points at all.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity Troy, TD

I've been trying to get in the habit of giving out rep points to good posts. I forget to a lot of times. Doesn't mean they aren't appreciated.

Troy, when a company gives you a raise and somehow forgets to call you in and let you know you got it for a month or two. They usually will back pay you for those few month.

My question is can you go back and read my post and back point me for all my good ones :hmmm: :D
