Going to a car show a couple hours south of here on Saturday... usually about 300 cars, so it's a fairly small show. Nice venue... city park setting, lots of big trees, should be a nice day too.

Then we will go to a big fireworks display at a local lake on Saturday night and probably BarBQ some ribs or chicken on Sunday.

Makes my mouth water just to think about it!!!

What are your plans?:D

Detailing a Volvo S80. :(

I have four cars to do in the next 8 days, I'll be lucky if I have time to do anything else.

I'm breaking out the grill on Thursday. Out local store had a sale on brisket for $.78 a pound! I'm also going to grill some beef flank ribs and venison sausage. I can't wait. My mouth is starting to water just thinking about it.

Saturday we're going to a parade and then watch some fireworks. It should be alot of fun.

78 cents a pound!!! Those prices take me back to '78!!!! What a bargain!

Enjoy your BBQ!!!:D

I already posted this elsewhere but....CARS, CARS, CARS and more CARS! Car show all weekend...some family time sprinkled in for fireworks and dinner! I love the 4th of July!

Driving to Dallas for a BBQ with friends and my fiancee has a race (triathlon) on Sunday. Should be a nice long weekend!

Driving Up North - Lake Tomahawk Wisconsin area. Hope to educate some fish (but the mosquitoes usually bite better)...

I've got a concours coming up in August at the Mercedes Benz Club Mid America Caravan, a national event in Topeka. I hope to start spending time on all the little things that I normally neglect during routine cleaning. Door jambs / hinges, treat all the rubber seals with that Gummi stuff, the interior and all of the hidden places in and around the dash, and if I'm really lucky, I'll make some progress on the engine area. If I can get this out of the way, then I'll be ready to spend the rest of July polishing and finishing. All this assumes the weather will cooperate. In Kansas City there is a 40% chance of rain througout the weekend. I may end up working in the garage.

Friday - Going boating
Saturday - Car & Coffee event in the morning, hosting a party in the evening
Sunday - Working on my current project cars (mini resto).
