Striker said:Can NXT be used over the Zaino products? Also as far as Quick Wax goes, can this product be used in the same fashion a QD can? I find the Megs Ultimate Quick Detailer to be a big help while in the drying process.
Dan said:NXT can be used over Zaino or any other product as it has cleaners/bonding agents...
Accumulator said:Don't you mean "NXT *CANNOT* be used..."
Assuming that's true....Hey, this is another thing we disagree about :chuckle:
Dan said:My theory is if the cleaners in it don't remove the underlying product, then its not going to be a problem....
The reality of it is, both NXT and Z2/Z5 have enough solvents in them to remove tar and paint, so they likely will remove whatever LSP you have on the car..
Accumulator said:Right! It's that "if" that makes all the difference, huh?
Heh heh, I can usually remove tar/etc. with most *any* LSPWell, as long as the tar/etc. isn't all that bad. IMO the whole solvents/cleaners in NXT/etc. topic is one of those "you won't know until *you* try it" things...I remember how somebody here messed up a good coat of 476S by topping it with Souveran, I sure wouldn't have expected that!
Gee, we're :argue again :chuckle:
Dan said:Lol. I do agree with you on a scientific level. But on a practical real life level, its a moot point when it comes to results.

I saw that in a Twilight Zone episode! Now, for real, on Autopia!
Striker said:Dan- thanks for the recommendation. I will give the NXT a shot and see how the filling agents really work. I have a full bottle of Megs UQD: is this product compatible with the NXT?
Striker said:I actually miss the way Zaino looked on the black car, if you're suggesting the nxt is similar, than even better. Does the UQD affect the filling properties of NXT at all?
Accumulator said:Dan- Ah, interesting about the UQD's fillers. Is it, uhm...Accumulator-proof or do you have to watch out for streaking/etc.?
