I had wondered also why you don't see more posts especially at times when there are quite a few people on.
I would like to see something similar to what they have over at autopia a click and brag section.
I think DC lost a lot of people way back when they weren't allowing people to post their work. I stopped posting as much when that happened. Then I would just stop by once in a while to check the action, and there really wasnt any. I dont really like to post just to post. I mean, if I cant really add anything, I try to avoid making myself look dumb (because I'm pretty good at that

). My skill level has grown such that I really dont need much help with application of product and such (I'm not saying that I'm the best out there, but I know enough to use about any product that I come across now). Not only that, but my time is a little more limited now, so I can't really hit the forums as much.
I also cut way back on my visits when the whole Adam's sponsorship thing fell through. The reason for that being, not so much that I think Adams is the best, but more because Nick C is a very close personal friend of mine. Alot of things were said about him and Adams. I dont like when negative things are said about my friends.
I realize that is all water under the bridge now, and I am making my return. When I actually start doing some more detailing, then my post count will begin to climb. Here in GA, we're under a serious water ban and my cars are nasty dirty. They get ONR's about every other week at work, but I miss using my foam gun. I like ONR as a product, but alot of my enthusiasm is gone because I enjoy a conventional wash. I'm also less enthusiastic about it because my Impala, which has been my baby for so long is hurtin' for a paint job and I just cant get it to look GREAT in my eyes any more.
Troy,
I think you're doing a good job with the forum, and I like the fact that you stay active and post on people's threads. I appreciate your replies on the last detailing showcase thread that I posted.
