jsatek said:any other members with comments about these 2? I hear they are similar but people either love one or the other...
mgm2003 said:FPII Hands down. It's the best of the bunch from the Menzerna line up, and IMO, nothing else comes close to it. (btw - I have SSR1 too).

Does it remove fine swirls faster? All things considered, a hands down yes.
Do you use it with a rotary?
Rotary, and DA (cyclo & PC) -all work well.
Do you polish it until it is gone or to a haze?
This is hard to explain over a post, but after you spend time with any polish, you can tell when it breaks down. FPII has plenty of lube in it, and I've rarely had any pad marring from it.
I guess this is turning into a review. I think we could use these on this forum vs. opinions. Facts and benefits always beat opinions.
jsatek said:Where do you buy the Menzerna chemicals like PO85RD?
I do not see it for sale when I google, is there another name for it?
cwcad said:I am pretty sure that PO85RD is not sold in the US any more. a few months back they had a thread going that said as much. Some of the members [urchased the last of the available product and offered to sell or trade it. I know that I got a few bottles that way. I only use that stash on my black truck. Going to try and make it last. HA!! Try to keep my polishing at a minimum, don't ya know.:lmfao
cwcad said:I believe it is a repeat of what of the comparison of Fp to SSR1. They are similar but different. Both get the job done. Which can be said for all Menzerna products vs. Poorboy's. Have used most products from both. Although there are differences you would be hard pressed to see them when used side by side.
