She details.

She likes muscle cars.

She's a motorhead.

What's next... I suppose you never miss SportsCenter and work on your car in slinky lingerie? :wow:

Tell me no more, I don't want my image of perfection ruined! :woohoo:

I am a bit strange...lol....I find shopping in Home Depot just as exciting as shopping at the mall

Actually....I think I am a well balanced individual....lol

But enough of me...does the OP have any pics of his wife's newly detailed vehicle?....i.e. did he "improve" the clearcoat failure?

curious how that went

Body kit is stock SVT, color is stock. Full suspension sitting on coilovers with oversized sway bars is NOT, 16in 12.3 pound Team Dynamics wheels are not stock.

Motor is stock internals, with a Jackson Racing supercharger with big boost kit, pushing 11lbs of boost. Full 2.5 inch Ford Racing Borla exhaust

Bah, weather absolutely went to crap on sunday, wind was blowing 20+ and the temp dropped like 30 degrees. I chose not to go outside, lol

I think I am just going to go over it with some Zymol (turtle wax) cleaner wax, and put some NXT over it....I will clay it as well.

i dont think I need to invest the 8 hour cure time of the Blackfire, and will use that on other vehicles.

I am definitely not in your detailing league....I initialy posted here because my car had rail dust...and was "afraid" to clay the car....well you guys convinced me...and the car came out nice.....after a couple coats of wax....but that's all I really can do..never polished....compounded..etc.

BUT...come Spring....I need to clay the car again, though I know an acid bath would be better...but I am "scared" to attempt that....

And I have also noticed some water spots on my hood..haven't tried the vinegar thing..or anything, really, on it....just ONR'd the car and put the cover on it.....but I am getting "worried" about the water spots..and am researching..lol....my options are vinegar...alcohol...clay bar...cleaner wax....paint cleaner....scratch x

sorry to hijack your thread...lol

My car is still stock....not exactly sure what I want to do with her yet..I am still pretty much a novice at car mechanics......and car detailing....lol....

Your car runs on nitrous?....I'm pretty sure you're smoking me at the track....lol

small 50 shot...but with the blower it is more like a 60-75shot, becuase it acts as a liquid intercooler as well.

my clutch absolutely despises me.

Well as a former s197 owner I would say start with a cold air kit and an sct programmer I got mine with tunes already loaded from Brenspeed.com then move on to the suspension
