Favorite tire dressing?

Great for tires and also fender wheels (undercoat looks light undercoat and metal or plastic surface also appear natural (new).

Tires have a gloss but not "tuner car" flashy. If applied with applicator absolutely no slang or gummy residue. :xyxthumbs

3M Rubber Treatment and Tire Dressing, if you care about YOUR tires. I use the Meguiars Hi Gloss Endurance for looks but apply the 3M every so often for the good chemicals it has. 3M is a very good product and anyone who uses it will probably agree.:)

EDIT: I am using Meguiars because I got four bottles of the Hi-Gloss stuff for $1.50 each. Because of all the negative posts on it I might not finish the first bottle before I give the others away.

Another one for 303. I've received a half-dozen remarks over 3 days about my "new" tires because of it. I just spray and let dry without buffing or wiping. It comes out similar to picture of Meg's Hot Shine spray (above post) but with a blacker black and slightly more sheen.

I've also used Vinylex when I want a tad more gloss (not as black as 303).

Last year I started using Armor All Foam(I know the name sends shivers down my spine as well) in a black and orange can.

Everything I've tried up until now, left my tires brown eventually. I used to have to use EFHI and scrub and do all this crap to get them black again.

This new foam stuff leaves it shiny and when it dissipates it doesn't leave brown. I was highly impressed.

Guess the AA chemists refined their product. Good for them, good for us :up

I'm a new fan of NXT. I've refined the application and love the stuff now. Right after I wash and dry, I dry the wheels and tires together. NXT goes on with the EO Tire Swipe. Then I finish everything on the rest of the car and the tires get a final anti-gloss wipe as I'm shutting off the garage lights.

If done this way and allowed to set for a good while, NXT does not sling at all and lasts a LONG time. Plus, after the slight gloss is gone, the tires stay very black through several rainstorms.

AA, endurance gel, EO are my favorites. Most tire shine products work effectively depending on how they are applied. Several factors depict how tires end up looking after applying dressings, and one of the most popular is the tires not being thoroughly dry. Some products I don't like as they are too shiny, flingy, too dull, etc.:up

Wouldn't 303 treat the rubber just as good?

Apples and Oranges, IMO. 303 is great stuff but I don't use it on my tires.

3M RT&TD contains White Mineral Oil and I like its slimmy feel. It absorbs into the rubber very well and leaves the surface very matt black and last just as long as Meguiars. 3M holds up to rain, washing and the high UV, hot sunshine in this part of the world. Wurth's Rubber Care is very good stuff too, but I use it on door seals, hoses, etc., and save the 3M just for the tires. 3M is a bit pricey and probably not the thing to use if your doing cars for a business.

I guess if you haven't tried it then it really doesn't matter what I think or say. There's lots of "good products" out there. This thread is full of them, right? :usa

Armor All applied with an Eagle One Tire Swipe.

Applied to all tires once, then wait for 5-10 mins and applied again to insure uniform coverage.

Lasts for a solid week, no sling-off, and a very inexpensive combo.

Not the best pic, but you get the idea.

Oh, and GS-R, that doesn't sound bad at all, since I have a ton of Armorall in the garage.....I can just wipe it on with a slightly damp sponge. I'll give it a shot! :)

Make sure you go back to ensure uniform coverage. I did it this weekend, like the look, but after like 10 min i could see where it hadnt soaked in...
