I work in Sikeston,MO just a 1/2 hour or so from Kennett. They have her on tape going ballistic. They have brought the prosecuter in from Cape Girardeau, MO (Morley Swingle) to try the case. Cape is where I live. I certainly agree about being another reason not to shop at Wally World (as if I needed any more lol).

I dont understand how it is so easy to villify our first-responders.
Remember the Harvard professor who was arrested because he did not want to show his ID to the officer responding?
I also dont understand why whenever there is an issue such as this the race card is always played.
Would she have been less irrate and handled herself better if the responding officer was black?

Freedom of speach doesn't have anything to do with this. Perhaps you should do a little more research on the what the founding fathers had in mind instead of assuming bad behavior is a Constitutional right.

Does anyone really think its ok to jail someone for yelling, screaming, "going ape$hit", or whatever you want to call it? Come on. We have more important things to worry about.
I know of two drunk drivers that cumulatively killed four people and cumulatively served less than 24 hours. Let's not worry about screaming.

I don't even live in the USA. Canada all the way. There have been times when I have straight yelled in cops face, straight up putting him down calling him a pig and he hides behind his badge etc., and he did absolutely nothing..........Why?...Because he can't.
I will always beak the cops no matter what, I despise their presence and they are in my eyes the scum of the earth.
Try this in Memphis and are boys will give you the "Hollywood Screen Test"....This is were they handcuff you with your hands behind your back, put you in the patrol car, get going about 50mph, then slam on the brakes. You go face first into there protective screen :scared:

I agree with you, but i'm not sure prosecutors were really talking jail time in the beginning.
They weren't, but now that all this stink has come down the judge oughta give her the 15 years Boo Hoo
Just to clarify....
She was arrested for assaulting the police officers - specifically for kicking one and splitting the lip of another as they fought to restrain her... this was a result of her not following the instructions of the officers and store management to leave the premises after her behavior became unacceptable.
In the end, I think this is indicative a larger underlying problem in society of people not having any discipline. This is a trait (or lack thereof) that has been passed on to the younger generation and is a cancerous mindset of it always being someone else's fault.

Indeed this is the United States of America and we do have our freedoms for sure, but that does not give you the right to treat others poorly - just look at the preamble of the Constitution:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
If we do not hold these things to be true and good and right then we have resolved ourselves to simply become the United States of A$$holes.

I saw that today, along with the video of her pushing items back four times at the checkout line........
The manager of the store was on CNN and told her side and it becomes very obvious that this woman asked to go to jail for her own actions........
This was way more than just calling the officers names........
