Excuse Me, I Believe I Was Here First...

It's a pain to clean the inside of the windshield. Dry MT doesn't work to clean the glass, since i can still see the drity film in direct sun light.

Haven't tried using plain water and WT, i don't want to get the interior messed up..

Does the Stoner's invisible glass work ???

What is the best thing to use ?

I like Stoners Invisible Glass personally but you have to use it in moderation otherwise it will streak. I clean my windows with flannel cloth and my Stoners bottle and it works pretty well.

I use Stoners as well, seems to work pretty good. Others have suggested that Eagle One 20/20 is pretty good as well, and you can find it locally for a very reasonable price.

What about a solution of isopropyl alcohol and water (50/50) and a MF towel? I used this combo on the recommendation of someone on this board and it works great.

I try not to use it too often inside for fear of the alcohol drying out any interior trim that may get hit during the cleaning...but this may be unfounded.

Stoner's is the best one I've tried that I've bought - but lately I've only been using distilled water and white vinegar with Brawny paper towels - this does the best job IMO and it's alot cheaper than Stoner's which was $4 a can at Pep Boys

I never buy glass cleaners. I prefer to use 2 mf towels. One damp followed by one dry. I've also used white vinegar on the damp mf towel with good results on newer cars that have more film on the inside glass. Much of my glass is tinted though and only water and high quality mf on them.

I use Ef CLear Vision currently, just got it last week. I say it performs very well. Removed bugs and tar from the windshield and made a quick job of the interior (vinyl haze/finger prints.) I sprayed some of the EF onto a clean terry cloth rag (K-mart 18 for $6) folded into quarters, and "buffed" on, turned the rag to a dry side and buffed dry. I followed up with a glass MF towel and the glass is sparkling clean, at least to me for that moment. Then an hour later the kids and a 3 hour drive messed them up a little bit, but they are easier to clean now.

For $15 or so dollars a gallon, its pretty good.

Just did my windows on the Infiniti Sunday trying the following

I mix in a spray bottle:

2cups Distilled water

1 1/2 cups Distilled vinegar

1/2 cup Rubbing Alcohol

Used crumpled newspaper to dry.

Best looking results I've seen. Not a single streak. Not a speck of lint.

Keep a bucket of soapy water and some old towel to wash the newsprint off your hands after each window.

If you're careful to keep your hands off your interior, the results to me are the best.

I did get a smudge of newsprint black on the door panel (tan).

It comes off very easily with a damp cloth.

Also note: The very best way to wipe clean is with those cheap white coffee filters. You may need a handful but they are lint free.

Try it on the inside and newspaper on the outside where there is less chance of getting black smudges on something.

*thats the round filters not the cone ones.

I'm with Prinz on this one. Even though I had a THICK film on the windshields of my car, all I needed was two microfiber towels (Nicsand). One was damp with distilled water, the other dry to buff the window after wiping with the damp one. I have gotten as good if not better results from this than even the Stoner's glass cleaner and I dont have to worry about overspray or chemicals falling on my dash.

At first, I was getting lint from the Nicsands. After one wash, no more lint! :up

I gotta go with Yell00ITR and Prinz. I read about using the microfiber towels and water on this forum, tried it, and am happy as a clam. No streaks that I can see, easy to do, no spilling chemicals on the dash/upholstery, and no smell. I use my microfiber towels for lots of things, but this is the best of all.

Anybody seen the story of the lady who cut line at WallyWorld. Seems she got into some kinda shouting match with an officer of the law and was arrested

She is now facing a 15 year sentence. Trial starts tommorow in Kennet Missouri?

Look forward to all responses :toetap05:

According to police, she was NOT arrested for cutting line but for going ape-$hit after the incident - yelling and cursing and hurling "verbal assaults after being asked to leave the store. The incident has also turned into a racial issue as she is black. Next thing you know Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will be picketing WalMart stores.

From what I have seen in a local paper I read, most of these are either dismissed or minimal fines. The view is they do not need to clog up the already overcrowded jails (at taxpayer expense) for such soft crimes if no one was hurt and any minor damage is repaid.

$50 fine. suspension. case closed.

Some are in a hurry to jail everyone...pay $15k per year to house them, yet do not want to spend $5k on preventive stuff to keep them from getting into jail...
