Which color? Everything but jet black seems ok for paint hardness, a lot like Hondas, soft but not too soft, finishes down nicely. It's just the damned black e92's that seem to be miserably soft.

I opted for the Jet Black and Cream beige leather - you know, the detailer's nightmare!!! :soscared:

I envy you! European Delivery on a new 335!!

I can't wait for the new Audi TT's to come out. I am either getting that or a 328xi.

But anyways, great details! Please post more pictures of your car in the future!

Typically stellar work! :bow

I bet you are loving the relatively mild winter you've been having up there. Congrats on the new BMW, it looks great!

Picus, I'm very envious of your job. Good choice of colour on your car. Is it Space Grey? It's looks very sharp. It's good to see a car being taken care of so well from day one! :)

awesome details man

ive ordered a solid black 335i convertible with the jade grey leather

im coming from the venerable VQ35 too, bet you're having a ball with the twins

It's Sparkling Graphite, so a little darker grey, a little more flake.

Thanks everyone, time to go drive. It's just too nice not to!

Picus - fantastic details on all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about the interior options. Yours seems like a loaded one compared to the other one in the picture.

Thanks. :)

Mine is the black interior in the first post. My options were sport package (which gets you sport seats), automatic w/paddles (wife cant drive a stick), metallic paint, comfort access (keyless entry), Nav, and logic 7 (premium sound). I skipped "premium package" which gives you auto folding mirrors, a universal garage door opener and some other minor stuff, PDC which is the parking distance monitor (yells when you're too close), and I think that's it...

The other interior pic actually have *everything* minus nav and PDC, so mine just looks different because of the NAV screen.

As for Puckman - Puckman, jet black, don't do it man. Change to Black Sapphire or something; Jet Black is trouble with these e92s. :(

im not a fan of the sapphire black - metallic blacks just look dirty in my eyes, you cant beat a well prep'd and waxed solid black

what do you mean by trouble? is it very soft and scratches easily?

how do u like the ProLogic 7? ive ordered mine with it too, but will be swapping out the sub for my own running off its own amp, and rigging up the screen to play DVD/TV on the go. These factory systems seldom have a loud enough sub

interesting how countries vary in spec, our 335s come with nav, sport package, keyless entry, front/rear PDC etc all standard - but then we also pay alot more for our cars. Strangely the Msport suspension was an option i had to add on my convertible

No wonder... I thought it was a little darker than the other Space Greys I'd seen, and that it was just the lighting! That is a really hot colour, it already looks aggressive stock, imagine the potential ;)
