What i did was clean both outside panels of my daily driving truck hood with DP WATERLESS WASH. The truck has no other protection on it as you can see by the center section of the hood.this truck is never washed ,is daily drivin and sits out side 24 hours a day, so i figured it would be a good true test for the products involved. On the drivers side i put 1 coat of FK1 2180 sealant and let dry to haze then removed. On the passenger side i put duragloss 601 left on and combined the 105 and let dry then removed. The start date for this test was NOV 21st 07 [day before thanksgiving]i will update the test randomly over time and post pics.
the first pic test done dec 16th 2007- my visual findings almost 4 weeks into test is they look ,bead, and feel identical to each other when it rains. when dry they look almost the same,i had someone who works for me look at the two panels[and he knows nothing about detailing] and he suggested the drivers side[2180] "This side looks a little more shiny than the other"
