I was looking at all the brushes that I have and some have come the distance....However I always think that I will have a use for them somewhere down the road.

Mostly what happens for me is the handle falls off, or something like that.....I put them in a bag and save them.

Anyone of a bag of these boneyard brushes? :cool :cool :cool
 
Hmm.. not so much brushes... but my dad rented a huge dumpster last summer to clean out the garage. It was so bad, there was a narrow path through all the junk. You couldn't walk through it in the dark. He kept weird stuff, like, ancient backpacking backpacks and nasty old beach chairs because "we might need them someday." I could park in the garage for about a month before stuff started piling up again.

I try to toss stuff that I havent used in a while. If I go backpacking, Ill get a newer backpack made with lighter materials. If I want beach chairs, Ill pick up some cheap ones at K-Mart. It's hard to break the pack-rat habit!!!
 
No brushes boneyard, but I do have my "collections" :D

palomino, I understand the beach chairs, but with the price of packs today...maybe I need to go through your last year's (or last week's)castoffs :lol
 
I have a "collection" of old sheepskin wash mitts. I don't know why I have them, they'll never see any use by me again (at least not on paint or wheels). Maybe I can make a jacket or something..... :cool
 
I've got a collection of old sprinklers. I never throw them away when I replace them, just save them for parts. then I always end up buying new ones away

empty product bottles and sprayers. i have soo many that adding more would just be rediculous but i keep doing it.

I save the spray bottles as well, I guess I always seems to have one going out because of one reason or another.....What I mean by never throwing out old brushes is that I keep them mostly because I fine some use for them....Allot of times with engines and the likes of that.
