7 Hours, a bottle of Simple Green Automotive, a little Griots Undercarriage Spray, some PigSpit and whole lotta elbow grease.

7 hours??? Holy cow... I put a roof on a garage in less than 7 hours. lol That looks really nice though. I hope it lasts awhile for ya. Is this a show car or a daily driver?

Hot damn! 7 hours?! That's a long time. Definately looks nice though. I'm going to clean my wheel wells like that the next time I rotate my tires.

Yeah 7 Hours but I'm a slow worker. I like to stop and inspect things as I go so I don't miss anything. Not to mention that this car is 11 years old and I'm 100% sure the wells were never cleaned.

I do drive the car but only weekends and in good weather. I'm planning on entering a concourse in June and I've been prepping for the last month.

Looks awsome...and I knew it would! That is my recipe for wheel wells! I have a 4x4 so my wheel wells really show! When I am done detailing, people think the truck has never been driven Detailed wheelwelld doesn't last long but once you do ot once, keeping up with them is not to bad. It also will give you the warm and fuzzy feeling when you pull up along someone who just washed their car and they notice:xyxthumbs

I took a tip from davidb and started using megs. engine kote. Our new C320 has its wheels wells covered in megs. engine kote now. Also sprayed the engine with it too. Will post pics soon.

Those wheel wells probally didn't look that good when the car was new! I was thinking of getting the undercarriage spray before I saw your pics. I will be getting now for sure. Looks great :xyxthumbs

I would be very interested in knowing how the Meguiars Engine Kote Holds Up and it's appearance. I've heard good things about the product but I've also heard it's very difficult to apply and overspray is tough to remove. Have you experienced any of this? Post some pics here if you have them!
