Hi, I have Wolfgangs Pad Werks Polishing Pad Cleaner which works very well by hand. Now that I have a pad washer, I'm looking for an alternative to all the expensive pad washer cleaning solution mixes. I have quite a bit of the Wolfgang pad cleaner, therefore I plan on spraying it on the pad prior to using the washer. In addition to, what's your suggestions for a cleaner/solution to mix in my water? What are you using with great results.....? Thanks, Ray

Ray I would use BLACKFIRE Advanced Pad Cleaner & Restorer. Just add a scoop to the bottom of the water in the bucket and be done with it.

If you want to save money, use a 20:1 dilution of Meguiars Super Degreaser in your pad washer, but you will need to rinse the pad out in pure water when you are done to remove any residues.

1.Snappy pad for the pad washer - Very simple, drop in packet and your good to go.

2.Chemical guys for decent build up on caked pads - Very cost effective

3.Surface Pad technology Cleaner for HEAVY soiled and caked micros and wool pads - It's expensive but worth it.

i use a degreaser and a power washer. Once done I bring in the house and rince with warm water and air dry. seems to work well My $0.02

The powered consistency of Detailer’s Pro Series Polishing Pad Rejuvenator combined with it's orange smell always makes me think of Tang. Both are citrus based, and I've used Tang to remove scale build up out of my dishwasher. Hmmm if I can find sugar free Tang maybe I'll try it out as an experiment.
