What's your favorite liquid wax ...

I agree that PwS from Poorboy's is a pretty good product. Yet, my favorite product to apply is Pinnacle's Liquid Souveran. I am not talking best product but it is my favorite to apply and looks good immediately. Longevity is another matter

Favorite liquid wax would definately be Collinite 845, for a sealant it would be Poorboys EX-P.

I really don't apply anything by hand anymore, I can always get a much thinner coat with the PC. Plus, it saves alot of time.

Well, my favorite liquid wax is a strong cleaner wax: 1Z Metallic PolishWax. The shine/depth it leaves is above average, and durability is typical for such a product (a few months). But as a final polish/LSP one-step combo, it's a snap. It has a LONG working time for final paint buffing, and removal is very easy!

If you plan to finish off with a non-abrasive carnauba wax (I often top it with Blitz, CC Carnauba Moose Wax or Natty's Blue), it'll look even better, but as an LSP used after 1Z PP or similar polish, it's an excellent time-saving product that looks quite good as the last step, which saves time and effort.

Liquid Souveran purely for looks (in some instances I have found it looks wetter than the paste even)

Collinite 845 for everything else.

percynjpn,

How does the Metallic PolishWax compare to Waxpolish Soft, or are they totally different?

Thanks :)

Leaving aside the 1Z stuff (which I *do* like, both the MP and the WPS), the only liquids I've used by PC are 845 (big surprise, huh :D ) and Malm's. Every time I post about Malm's I think I'd like to use it on something, if only for old-times sake.. but I never get around to it what with all the paste waxes I have on hand.

I always apply liquids with my PC. It is really only because of Accumulator posting about how he loves to apply pastes via PC that I tried it a couple weeks ago. I actually really like applying pastes by PC now. I've only tried it with Max Wax but it seemed so much faster. It was quite nice. I am thinking this is my new method for pastes.

Sorry, I haven't tried the Waxpolish Soft, but if I remember right, it's supposed to be more aggressive than MPW.
