What is the best Microfiber towel on the market for Drying cars???

I recently got into auto detailing when I picked up my new car a few weeks ago.

After reading this forum and others like it feverishly for the past few weeks, I learned about the miracle microfiber towel. I have washed cars for nearly 30 years the way my father taught me, using old discarded cotton bath towels. Bad idea I know. I already have swirls in my new car from just the first few washes using those old things.

Long story short, I picked up some Microfiber towels from my local Target that were branded VROOM (weird name huh?). I have to tell you, I about fell over when I first started using them. The amount of water they took up, utterly amazing. What really got me was not only did they take up an enormous amount of water, but they didn't streak the water across my paint like cotton towels have done to me for 30 years! Halleluhah!!!

Anyhow, I am hooked and now want THE BEST Microfiber towel in the market for the sole purpose of drying off my car after washes. Money is no issue. I figure I will be washing my car at least once a week if not more, so it is worth it to me to have the best.

I would really appreciate everyone suggestions. Thanks!

i use the large yellow vroom towels from target for drying...works great. not sure what is better enough to justify extra $$$$. i'm sure others can chime in here and suggest some.

Yes, the big yellow towels from Target is what I am using.

That said, I want the best. I keep hearing that Waffle weaves are the best, but I don't know.

i just recently purchased Vroom MFs as well....bought the 12 pack..only thing is that its a 80/20 blend...have yet to use it..will do it this friday as it will be 62 here in boston.

I found a Vroom polishing/waxing mitt...75/25 blend..for $4.00...not bad at all..

I tried searching for any posts about vroom reviews..came up empty..glad it worked well for you!

What do you think of this towel in comparison to the Supreme Guzzler Waffle Weave?

Cobra Super-Plush Deluxe Microfiber Towel is 100% microfiber all the way to the edge! Our softest microfiber detailing & buffing towel.

It seems to be a big towel, very thick, and is a 70/30 blend. At first look, I would think this would be a better towel for drying a car and it's cheaper! That said, I don't know much about Waffle Weave's.

Also, how would the Cobra Waffle Weave compare against this?

MICROPAK 24" x 36" Waffle Weave Micro Fiber Towel

I have seen this towel get rave reviews as well, but then again, I have no experience with them.

Exceldetail, PakShak and Autopia Store all sell only high quality WW's. I am pleased with all the WW, also MF's, I have purchased from these vendors.

All demostrate excellent customer services and ultra-fast shipping.

I believe all these vendors offer an Autopian discount!!!:xyxthumbs

Well, I just ordered two Pakshack Waffle Weave Microfiber towels on sale at $12 each. I am going to try these for a bit and then get some Cobra Guzzlers later on down the road to compare.

The dehydrator from eshine.ca is really good, Sonus der wunder drying towel seem to be very good, i have try Sonus ultimate drying towel and i don't love it and the one from meguiar's su*** :) the dehydrator is for the moment the best i have try and i love it

I ordered the Sonus Ultimate Drying Towel (mf-200), since it's improved AND ON SALE! I already have the Cobra Ultimate Guzzler and I'll be comparing the two, but the Ultimate Guzzler is bigger, so it might not be a fair comparison.

o have the dehydrator from eshine, but i see the supreme guzzler online in canada too..so i may grab one and compare..im guessing i want more WW anyway..

i see autopia store ships to canada, so i will browse there now too...
