I've often wondered what the obsessed detailer living in an a apartment, dorm etc. with no access to water does to keep there car cleaned. Short of using a brushless car wash it could be kind of difficult. Charles, got me looking at a completely separate product, while searching for that product I stumbled across this pressure washer:
I have no doubt that this product has some serious limitations in the "heavy duty" department. I wouldn't begin to suggest that it would replace a bigger pressure washer. It just might be an ideal washer for a guy in prohibitive situation.
It seems to me that you could fill this pressure washer up and a carry an additional 3.5 - 5 gallon bucket holding wash mitts, brushes, sponges, shampoo etc. with a Gamma Seal Lid. You would have plenty of water to wash and rinse a vehicle completely virtually anywhere. This product also seems like it might be a ideally suited for doing under the hood details. The fact that it only has 90 lbs. of pressure would be just about perfect for under hood work.
It is 18 volt powered and holds 3.5 gallons of water. There are a couple of videos on YouTube demonstrating the use of this washer. I haven't used this product and have a lot of questions that come to my mind regarding its use. I have no idea how long the battery might last but you could carry an extra. Anyone seen one of these in use?
