Touchless car wash?

What are your feeling about touchless car washes? Under light rain and high winds where there's no heavy grim just lots of dust. Would you guys still stay away from these car washes. My concern is the type of soap they use. What are you opinions.

There are a lot of good thread on the subject. A well run touchless was is ok on paint. It kills your LSP pretty fast too. I have a few friends that use them on a regular basis, and the trim on their cars looks at least twice as old as it should, but their paint looks fine. ONR is a much better, cheaper, and almost as fast option if you factor in driving time.

The new waterless washes might be another option.

I'd rather have no swirls and now protection left then swirls and no protection.

Opti-Coat your car and you can use touchless washes without any fear to it attacking your protection.

AutoGreenWash, Inc. sells a new push button automatic car cleaning system. It washes, rinses and dries a car using 26 computer controlled sprayers, filtered water and air. It has an enclosure that lowers from the ceiling to keep your garage dry. It captures all the used water for re-use as on your lawn or shrubbery. It is absolutely touch free, but it takes a long time. However, you can have it wash overnight and it has a settable delay. They have a video on their web site that lets you see it in use.

Good detective work Charles. Seems that CleanRide's IP & AutoGreenWash both seem to be located in Scottsdale, AZ. Sounds like spam to me. :beware :ban: :banplease:

Sounds just like a dishwasher for your car? The humdity has to create tons of mold in both your garage, but your car. Doesn't seem like a good invention to me. Pretty hot chick giving this demo though:

Funny how the spammers don't realize that only spammers use their official company name.

International Business Machines Corporation = spammer usually

IBM = non-spammer usually

He even went through the trouble of italicizing his company name. :rolleyes:

Exactly.... at the very least he could've made it less painfully obvious.

Then again, maybe it was a bot of some sort? Those have even less brainpower...
