This poor lil TL, needed more then I could throw at it. Included in my offerings were Orange and yellow 6.5" pads, UDM, both Four Star Body Shop Medium Cut and light Cut Compounds, Optimum Compound and Polish, and every conceivable combination of those items. It was just beyond what I can normally attain in a normal 4-5 hr job for a car of this size. Ive done plenty of NBP TL's, but this one had just not had enough TLC over its 3 years of life in So Cal. Heavy bird stains, sap stains, chips, bug splatter, and over 70k miles. Overall, about a upper 80%, low 90% improvement though. Here's some before and afters......

And now a real treat........

No befores, just afters. The owner who is headed to a local monthly get together of exotics asked if I had some time to clean this up. How could i deny myself the pleasure.....

Just a little bit of Freedom One, and Protectall Do It All, Four Star Tire Gel for the rubber.....

Tomorrow is "Girls Day" for the Atom. The owners GF gets to drive it to the show. He had these panels custom painted by the same painter who custom painted many of the Fast & Furious rides......She has no idea what he did for her either.....They were freshly painted a while back, and this is there first appearance on the Atom. I just added a little gloss with the Protectall.....

Patrick, Nice work on both.

A good friend has an Atom on order and hopes to have it by August. Does your client track it?

Yes, hes been to a few track days.....Him and my son were talking about it yesterday while detailing. He took from son for about a 1/2 hr ride (While I finished the TL), my son has been in some fast cars before but said the Atom is a "different" fast, yet undescribable......Amazing "G"s, is just "pure, raw speed" he said......

That's how I'd describe my test drive on the Ducati 1098. The experience overall was pretty raw and down to plain and simple nitty gritty speed. The thing's a beast!

0-60 in 2.9 second and able to outcorner a motorcycle! Yes please! :D

You are a very lucky man, Patrick!

Looks like you did an amazing job on the TL.

I am about to do a diamond pearl white TL. How was the clear? Soft? The owner washes is weekly and such. So it's nothing bad, just swirls from improper washing.

What kind of motor is in that open seat car?

Nice job on the Acura. Looking at the befores I don't think I could do that in 4-5 hours.

I think that the motor is a 2.0L sourced out of a Cobalt SS. Then it might be super chared ( i cant tell if it is not not) and it should make 300ish hp. In Europe it has a 2.0L engine as well, but it is sourced from a civic SIR.

They are also making them with the option for the 230hp/260tq SRT-4 Neon engine in them............I like the custom panels, a first for me.

Hmm. Did you hide this post somehow Pat? Nice turnaround on the TL. NPB can be tough sometimes.

I've got to get a rotary in your hands.:D

Great job on that nasty TL !!! That Atom reminds me of the T-Rex which was a 3 wheeled version. A customer of mine had one. I would love to take that animal out to the desert and let her run wild.

I keep getting my son to try to upload his "ride" on BoobTube or whatever the *** it is......I kinda freeked when I sawit, thinking "you took my son in that thing, without the roll cage, that fast!?" And then it was replaced with thoughts of envy.....and pure jealousy. I just want to know why the hard working guy got to stay and work in the heat and the young man got to go???

The young man was probably better looking! JK

Nice turn around on that TL. I get to do my GF's parents TL in a week or so! Same color too!

That ATOM has to be a blasssssssst!
