The new twins!

Awhile ago meguiars had a couple of products nicknamed the twins. M105 or M100 and M205. We’ll after using them for years and doing all the water tricks to get them to work better, I was introduced to the Griot’s Boss system. I can’t believe the difference! No need to improvise to work longer , no need to wash the pads to work on soft paint and make a holy mess! These as far as I’m concerned are the new state of the art twins! I’ve used the Boss creams for over a year and have not had a problem with any paint yet! With the combination of liquids and pads they have you covered. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Couldn`t agree more Mike! I`ve been through more bottles than I can count and LOVE the product even more after every use. Can`t say enough good things about it honestly.
 
Theoretically..... of course.

One would used the correcting cream. Would a white or suffice unless totally jacked paint. Or use an orange for sure because “correcting” cream

Then perfecting cream with a white pad.
For brilliant shine?

Obviously this two step process is more time consuming. But I’m sure the results are stunning

Correcting Cream and B & S Uro Fiber worked extremely well on semi-beat paint. Finished amazingly well.
 
How does Correcting Cream fair versus FG 400 or D300 on a microfiber pad for hard paint systems? I probably should just buy a bottle and test it out. Lol. Being lazy.
 
So many things that are great about Griot’s FCC, I’ve never tried perfecting cream.

The bottle is a great size, the rounded cap/lid is an awesome design, easilythe best designed bottle.

The smell is like cake batter. I’ve never smelled a better compound.

Cuts awesome, finishes awesome, works forever, low/no dust.

Love the stuff!
 
Not sure about the menzerna line , only used it a long time ago and didn’t like it. Easily outperforms d300 and doesn’t hide anything. Try doing a section with each and wiping with alcohol, you’ll see the difference!
 
I have a love for fast correcting cream but I will say for me it tends to gum up pads a little bit more than say M100. But the trade off is the fact FCC doesn`t dust like M100. I have both in my arsenal and switch back and forth. M100 cuts fast, short working time and does dust. But wipes off much cleaner and blows out of a microfiber cutting pad better.

FCC, cuts awesome, virtually no dusting, wipe off is decent.

Just my thoughts over the past year or so of using these two. FCC is about double the cost for a gal vs m100

Correcting cream and perfecting cream are pretty good. Have really taking a liking to Hyper polish over M205 and perfecting cream. I keep perfecting cream and correcting cream in the bag but they haven`t been getting used much. Maybe on this weekend`s project.
 
As far as gumming up the pads, use less product. As far as price, as they say, you get what you pay for. I find I use much less Griot’s than I did with meguiars to do better work.

Not so much. It use to be a long time ago, I see gas is up again but I would bet it is the same gas as yesterday. I wish I could stand by that old slogan but history has proven it went by the wayside on most things. Now it all has to do with the product, wage regulations, health care etc. Sorry, did not mean to be a downer.

I’m unsure about how to exactly ask this question, but what is the difference between CC and FCC? If I bought CC, would I wish I had just stepped up to FCC instead?

I wish more vendors would offer sample sizes of products. I’d be more willing to take a chance on things I could just try out first before investing in a big bottle
 
They have the same abrasives but in different amounts. The correction cream tend to have a little more lubrication that makes it easier to wipe off on those sensitive paint cars. I always start with correction cream when doing a correction on a car. You can always work up.
