Swirled Accord, scratched BMW 330i, cream puff Honda Pilot

I wondered about that too - but it looks like he diminished them really well without it. I think in cases like that wetsanding is hit or miss, probably wouldn't have done much in his case but lets see what he says! :D

Scott, did you consider wetsanding the deeper scratches on the hood?

I did until I felt how much they caught my fingernail. Definitely all the way through the clear and into the base coat. There is on the door that is completely beyond hope, the owner understands that the only way to make it perfect is a reshoot.

tumbler-#83/80 seem to work really well on BMW and Mercedes. :bigups

First let me say nice work on all the cars and the Accord looks dripping wet

Do you find #83/#80 works better than Menzerna polish on Mercedes ? I thought the Menzerna polish suppose to work better on the ceramiclear

Meguiars worked with PPG to make sure CeramiClear was correctable. Under most normal conditions, DACP with a Meguiars yellow polishing pad and a rotary will correct CeramiClear.

Anyway, most of the Mercedes I see regularly have the older paints anyway. BMW seem to have somewhat softer paints than Mercedes.
