Awesome work on the BMW supercharged, so how do you like the BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax? and also did you get any sun shots?

Dude this is a GREAT thread, and not because of the products or the fact it is a cool car, your work was extremely thorough and very impressive.

The sad fact is, particularly on other forums, is that the car itself gets the credit. I.E. "I detailed a Ferrari" ect... What happens is that great threads like this don't get the views they deserve, even if the work is amazing.

I REALLY hope Truth In Detailing, as it grows, doesn't become like the other forums. Great work should be rewarded, period.

Thank you for taking the time do document your work as such, the car looks great, and your girlfriend should be very happy!!!

Todd

Nice job on the Beemer!!!:D Looks like a brand new car. After all, that's our goal!
thank you. I think after 32 hours on this car along, I achieved what I wanted.

I actually didn't take any shots in the sun. It was dawn, and my wife took the car to work the next day.

Thank you, Todd. Being a member of different forums I learned that posting befores, during, and after photos really catches people attention. They feel like they are there, watching your thorough process, showing your attention to every little detail. With that said, I spend 32+ hours on this vehicle along, so posting just befores and afters are simply not enough. Other detailers might wanna know, why it took me so long to detail this vehicle.
I was very impressed with these new CCS pads that CMA sells, they are much easier to work with then any other pad I've used before...and Blackfire Twins is simply a stunning combo, it was my first time using it, and I was simply blown away by it.

Thank you, I really appreciate your comments.

very thorough job fella..well done as it looks great.
Thank you, Jay.

Solid work. The car looks great. Well done.
Thanks!

Nice detail and a even nicer walk through. Very well laid out. Thanks for posting.

Thank you, Justin. Thorough work required thorough pics.

Nice job....I noticed you did not tape up much of the trim. I envy your confidence.

Did you use the ARO just on the wheels and wells? I picked up a bottle and plan to use it soon.

Thank you. I usually don't tape. This is a family car anyway, so I can always clean it up later. I use ARO on tires only, on wheels I used Megs APC with a foaming sprayer.

Nice work and photos.
Love the carpet cleaning on a daily driver.
Im working on my wife's jeep also a daily driver.
How do you like blackfire, have you used other waxes?

Thanx for the reply

Lookin' damn good, nice attention to detail on those rims. :)

I always like the E46 coupes, I think this one looks great (even if it does just have the sorta wimpy 2.5 liter engine).

Thanks. Wheel brightener, and Tardis is an outstanding combo when it comes to filthy wheels...
And speaking of engine, it is not a M3, but has plenty of power for my wife. It's her car, she likes it.
