SUPER EXTREME MAKEOVER-- 1987 Pontiac Trans Am

Ok, well, heres the story behind this one. It belongs to a friend of mine, whom has owned it since 2001, and he believes it was repainted in the 1996-97 time frame in SS red. It was washed 3-4 times a week when he owned it using bad practices, and waxed monthly. It then ended up sitting outside from about late 2002 (he bought a new WS6 then) until now, unter trees and not covered. So, I knew I had my work cut out for me. Its a 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a 5 speed.

Damn, how can you leave it outside uncovered for 4 years? Especially after you washed it weekly and waxed it monthly before your new car? It killed me to put my 14 yo car outside when I got my new one.

Oh yeh, BTW, my friend was offered $1200 before the detail, then sold it for $2800 after!

...and car dealers only want to pay $50-60 for a detail around here. :LOLOL

That is some serious improvement! :bow
