Ok So I couldn't find Eagle 1 20/20 anymore..

So I jumped on the Stoners bandwagon with everyone else.

I dried my Eagle one method. Initial wash, with plain water to loosen any extra dirt. Dry.

Apply spray to MF towel. Wipe down circular motions. Again dry new MF towel It looks fairly nice until you put the halogens on it. You can see the marks. I tried redoing it again. And it looked better till this morning driving to school I got glare off of every car that was oncoming :(

I used every method in the books and could never get it streak free.

So I switched to ClearKote QuickShine- and I havent looked back.

Spray window wype small circles lightly respray polish with clean cloth stoner has window towls on there web site that work great

Why didn't I think to get one of their towels... Duh lol..

I will have to try this

Spraying the window works better?? I was never a believer in this in case of overspray. Or uneven cleaning. But its worth a try.

I'm still newbie, but I don't see how spraying the towel would even work. The foam that comes out of the aerosol can, it doesn't seem like something that would spread around on the glass good from a towel. You spray it on the window, let it dwell to loosen the dirt, then clean it off.

Maybe with window cleaners that are more watery, it makes more sense to spray the towel? Thereby, avoiding overspray?

Anyway, the directions on the Stoner Invisible Glass can say to spray the window. At least the aerosol version does. I've never tried the spray bottle version.

spray a liberal amount of glass cleaner on the glass, spread it around lightly with a microfiber towel and then flip it over and buff off. also, using two microfiber towels works great as one will get saturated...

Am I the only one who uses newspaper with Stoner IG? Works great for me.

using a newspaper doesn't feel right to me, and having tint i wouldn't want to risk scratching it...

....I've been using a 50/50 mix of IPA and DI water. Believe it or not, I bought some cheap Vroom, short nap towels at Target I purchased for other purposes and happened to try them on the windows one day. I found they worked better than other towels I have tried for this task. They don't shed lint and seem to have enough "bite" to remove any residual film during my final pass (basically a dry buff with a clean side or seperate towel after misting and wiping the glass down).

Agreed there, I wouldn't use it on windows with tints either. It's weird, but the newspaper works really well from my experiences.

the MF towels made for glass cleaning make a huge difference IMO.

they're the ones that have zero nap.

I'm pretty half assed when it comes to my glass cleaning, i spray on a bunch of stoners (aerosol), dwell, wipe with one glass MF and follow up with a second "dedicated clean/dry" glass MF.

no real issues with overspray or dripping, no lint left behind and pretty much streak free

In my experience this method works well BUT you have to do it x2 otherwise you'll see streaks and spots.

this. I binged, and bought some fairly pricey ww window towels, and I'm totally glad that I did. And I use stoner's ig, for what it's worth. I used to have streaking issues with it, but not with the new towels.

I use IG by spraying directly on the glass.

I recently picked up a green mf towel labeled for glass, from the local store and it works great.

Ah! I was wondering why one side of the green Vroom towels marked specifically for glass that I bought were completely flat on one side...

Nap is the stuff that makes a towel fuzzy and cozy, right?

yes.

you want no "fuzzy" stuff on your window towels.
