Scratch repair pens?

Are any of these good for light clear coat scratches? I was looking at the turtle wax brand kit, and the others, mainly out of interest. Can it actually work as shown if you sand, use rubbing compound, and polish after use to knock off the high spots people complain about?

I have the TW kit. It's not bad and I like the sanding pads. That said, clear touch up paint is hard to level, no matter what brand. It will make things better but not flawless. Hope for a three foot repair.

thanks for the first hand info. is it hard to do light coats with to build slowly? is it prone to running like many reviews claim?

Its not anymore runny than most manufacturers clear, the issue I have with it (and any other clear) is that it begins to flake when you get it too thin. Grab some langka when you get the kit and you will be able to reverse anything you do with the paint.

As with any touchup repair, when it starts to look "good enough" just leave it alone. When you try to get it perfect is when it goes downhill.

Its a chemical that is aimed at smoothening/blending touchup repairs. Its ok at that. It much better at removing touchup paint in general. If you mess up with a touchup pen or brush, langka is your eraser.

And just get the blob eliminator, not the whole kit, the rest of that stuff is junk.
