Running Boards

Ok what is everyone using on running boards? Examples are the black plastic type ones on suburbans and other suvs. Drives me nuts, get the vehicle looking great but the boards look like crap. I won't dress them for safety reasons. I haven't found a product that doesn't leave them slippery. I used to dress them all the time as I'm 6'2" and it never dawned on me that people actually used them. Dress shoes on a slick running board don't go over well with the business community. Also small children frantically clutching the mirror or door frame while getting in is a bad image.

I have a Tahoe and like Greg said, I use BnB, but I spray it on and scrub them with a brush and then buff them off with a cotton towel. I have 5 year old twins and they never slip.

Lately, I've been using Adam's In&Out Detail spray. It's great because you just spray it on and that's it. No wiping down or anything. Here's a pic of one that I did with In&Out:

In and out is an aerosol. Do you find yourself wiping up the excess from paint and chrome and other areas of the vehicle?

Greg,

Nope. There isnt a whole lot of paint around it, and I havent had any problems with my aim. The can doesnt shoot a way wide stream or anything. It really works well. I would use B&B or VRT, but the things are just such a PITA to wipe down thanks to all those little grooves. In&Out is a real time saver when it comes to those running boards.
