SpoiledMan said:If you're going to get the Pinnacle Bug Sponge, there is really no need for the Bug Squash. Just use a concentrated car wash solution. I'd stray from the Klasse products unless you can be SURE that they are the old versions. There are some unknowns about the "new" stuff. While I like QD+(Im in minority here) you should know that it is a spray wax and not just spray on and wipe off. It hazes and needs to be wiped off just like a wax. You could replace the lack of Klasse SG with Menzerna FMJ. I have had a half dozen Duo-Fiber towels and NONE of them have stayed together. I'd wait until whatever problem with them is ironed out. The rest of the list looks good. Get a gallon of some kind of QD and a spray bottle for it. You will go through lots of QD and vinyl/rubber dressing.

Are you saying you like the PB QD or the Klasse QD?
So the FMJ replaces the Klasse SG?
Thanks, I`ll stray away from those Duo-Fiber towels.
What type of QD do you like? You mentioned one above that you were a minority in liking it which was this? Also how does the PB QD rate?
Thanks!

Opinions on the order?
Suggestions?
Let me here it!

I'd get more MFs, the regular plush kind. When you polish you can go through quite a few of them.
I'd get Sonus clay (both gray and green) instead of the PolyClay. I feel *very* strongly about this one, no way would I want to be without the two Sonus clays and I've heard too many people complain about how they marred their paint with the Pinnacle PolyClay (no idea why, I've never used it). I'd get some dedicated clay lube instead of just using shampoo mix and/or #34. I do it both ways and prefer the lube.
I wouldn't get Meg's #21 *and* the Klasse twins *and* UPP *and* Meg's #7 *and* the Liquid Souveran *and* the wheel sealant. I'd just get the AIO and UPP for now and get acquainted with them (FWIW, I do use both KSG and UPP). While I do keep some #7 (and other Meg's "pure polishes") around, I don't really see any reason for you to buy that one unless you have some uncured fresh paint or some older single-stage you're gonna be working on.
Again, I don't mean to be a drag, I just think you're more likely to have a satisfactory experience if you scale it back a little. Most people find the learning curve to be a bit daunting as it is. Heh heh, I have *dozens* of products and I could get by just fine without most of 'em
Oh, and I hope you put some good thought into your choices for abrasive polishes. This is where most people seem to have the most difficulty- mechanically removing marring.
ToddW said:Thank you for that info on the PolyClay, up until now all i`ve ever used was the Mothers Clay/Spray combo. I`ll have to check into the SONUS options.
Thanks again.

Of course, I'm paraphrasing, but...
"I never made money until I stopped chasing "the perfect wax." "
Truly something to think about, especially for you "New Guys".
