removal of tire marks on paint?

A potential customer has a tire scuff mark on her VW bug. I've done scuff mark removal from paint transfers using a laquer thinner, but never a tire scuff mark. Any recommendations on what to use? I pretty much have most everything in my detailing arsenal .

83 and a cutting pad worked for me last detail.....took two passes to completely remove it and then topped with 80 and nxt and all was left is a few little dents from the imact

Try some cleaner wax or possibly even a lil WD40. Just be sure to clean off the WD40 right away and then polish & seal!

Try some 3M all purpose adhesive cleaner, or IPA. I've had good luck with both methods. Probably the 3m worked better though. I sometimes get rubber scuff marks on my boat from the bow roller when I winch her on the trailer. The above methods take it right off.
