Red soda pop stain on carpet

What is the best way to remove red soda pop stains from a tan carpet ?

Try Folex. Spray it on and let it dwell for a bit then go back and scrub it with a good stiff brush. Extract the remaining wetness with a shop vac. Folex is my go to product for carpet cleaning and it has yet to let me down.

For this type of stain I've had the best results using a product specifically designed for red dye stains such as Pro Choice Red Relief.

I agree with smprince1 red dye is very hard to get out.

DO NOT use this method if the carpet is Olefin.

I thought most auto carpets were nylon. Is that not true?

just be sure to follow directions on the bottle. In my experience with this I have been able to remove 90-99.99% of the stain.
