RARE.... Maserati Khamsin

"My Maserati goes 185...."

Awesome work Joe! Setec, you are correct, I did a Lambo Espada that had a very similar looking rear hatch... Amazing work!

Wow, that's a very nice car and a very nice job on it. Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I'd also like to know what one of those is worth. Did you take note of how many miles were on it?

Awesome work Joe, brings back old memories when i lived in miami in the early 80's when i use to have a L82 and be looking for them at 3:00 in the morning for some racing on US 1..........:up

Awesome job! Is that original paint? Looks like there is no orange peel at all, is that true? Or did you do some wet sanding?

For the most part, Maseratis’ street cars haven’t really caught on in the collector market. You can expect to pick up a really nice one for under $30k.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if one as good as this could bring in more, especially after Joe has worked his magic on it.

Makes sense, the guy who styled it, Marcello Gandini, also did the Lamborghini Jarama, Espada, Miura, Urraco, Countach and Diablo.

PC.

Really nice work Joe. One of my customers has a Lamborghini Miura that looks really similar. Gotta love mid 70's Italian styling.

Thanks for the kind words. No I didn't color sand it. It had a smooth finish that was scratched up a bit.

We dug a lot of compound out of the cracks and all.
