Quick Review: Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection

Hello all, better late than never. I was given a couple of new formula Blackfire products to write reviews on. Sadly the weather hasn't been the greatest and neither has time for me. I previously used the new formula of Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP but forgot to take pictures after using it. Well this weekend I had a returning customers' Tahoe and decided I would snap a couple pics for my review.

Since this is a quick review let me just say this, I like the tweaked formula better. I have experienced zero dusting with this product after two uses, ease of use is outstanding, and the slickness is something that really stands out to me. I mean instantly after removing the product the paint is crazy slick!

Just a couple pics this time around, first the product:

The paint was prepped with Optimum Hyper Spray Polish via Optimum 5.25" micro fiber polishing pad and Griot's Garage DA on speed 5, then cleansed with CarPro Eraser.

And the afters:

When I dropped off the vehicle the owner kept saying that it looked awesome and couldn't believe how slick the paint was. If I remember correctly he shook my hand 4 times while saying thank you so much, it just looks awesome. I told him in a couple weeks if he doesn't mind I would like the vehicle back to try out a couple new products - Solution Finish for the running boards, Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray, and Blackfire Crystal Seal. If he has the time I will do a review on those as well.

Well this concludes my "quick review" of Blackfire Wet Diamond All Paint Protection. If you don't have a bottle, do yourself a favor and order it. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for looking.

Richard

Excellent quick review! I am looking forward to trying BFWDAFPP. If my customers would just show up....

Thanks for the review Richard. What would you say is the most convincing factor to get the new version vs the old?

For me, no dusting. I used the old formula several times and each time it dusted and clogged the micro fiber towels. Both are slick, both produce a beautiful finish, both are easy to use, but the lack of dust is the winner for me. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the review Richard, the paint looks awesome! :rockon

Thanks Todd! I'm not going to lie, I didn't plan to buy the Polymer Spray or Crystal Seal any time soon until I delivered this vehicle. It was the owner's reaction that made me decide that I'm not going to wait. He has agreed to the product testing so look for another review. :D

You'll love the Polymer Spray !!! Used it for the second time this weekend and think I'll be buying this stuff by the gallon!

I planned to eventually pick some up, wasn't going to skip it all together. But now it's higher on my list of things to try.

Yes you still have to wipe off the hazed over product but you don't have much dust being pushed into cracks and crevices, it stays on the towel.

I applied by machine where it would fit and by hand where it wouldn't. I used a crimson HT pad.

Honestly I haven't tested durability. If you look up the review by LegacyGT you may find some answers. I believe he is testing the "old" formula against the "new".

Richard,

Nice review of this already great product! :bigups

I have the original formula and was very impressed with its ease of use and superiors shine. The newer version you tested looks great and the finish on that vehicles simply glows....

Thanks for posting the stunning results....:bigups

Yet another nice review.

I need to find a better place to take my after shots. I plan to start scoping for a place. At my house, we have tall trees so when the sun is at the better angles (usually to mid morning and later afternoons) we are in the shade. In the winter, it is dark early due to the trees.
