I see that PB has released their soap, but without many details on their website.

Anyone have any experience with this product so far?

Detail City has had threads with positive comments but they are so PB centric I thought it would be best to ask around here for a more balanced view.

Thanks for the input!

I purchased some. I'll try it this weekend and let you know.

:)

I will be using the new soap and wheel cleaner this weekend and will post findings Monday

I am sure we will be trying some soon as well. Right now I just bought some NXT wash so I will wait until that is gone most likely.

I look forward to hearing about your experience. If there is anyone out there with an advance sample, tell us what you think...

I picked up the new Poorboys car soap from Autogeek and I like the way it cleans, it's suds like crazy. and you can not beat the $ Anothe fine product from Steve.

Lee... I got busy with some consultancy work and did not try SSS as I said I would. PM me if you are interested in a sample. I'll send a few oz's for you to try if you are interested.

I just finished washing my Yellow Protege5 with the new Poorboys Super Slick and Suds Car Wash.

I am definitely impressed!

The soap suds up very nicely, and it has pretty good staying power (the suds don't immediately vanish like some car wash's do). While washing the car, I definitely thought that the "lubricity" (is that a word?) was very good. My chenille wash pad just glided over the surface (2 coats of Zaino).

The cleaning power was also very good. This was a good test, because it rained like crazy here in SoCal last week, so the car was very dirty. The SSS did a great job of cleaning the dirt and grime from the car, while being very slick at the same time.

Rinsing was very good. It seemed to come off easier than the Z7 I usually use (which usually seems to "stick" in places unless you apply a direct stream directly over the affected area). The car seemed squeeky clean when finished, without any type of residue at all.

If anything, I probably used a little too much. A little most definitely goes a long ways! Looking at the size of the bottle, I realize that this car wash will last a very long time!

I would have to say that I probably still have a preference for 1Z's Perls car wash due to the fact that it appears to leave the car looking more like it was just polished, with a wetter look. Then again, the Poorboy's is much cheaper than Perls.

I will probably use the Poorboys on my daily driver and my wifes car, and keep the Perls for use on my "toy" that is only driven about twice a week.

Overall a great product.

I have the Super Slick & Suds wash, and like it very much............. especially the extremely high lubrication. It also cleans very well, without being to aggressive. Sonax is still my favorite wash, but if I can't get it, I'll probably be using the SS & S because of the lubrication.

Use about 3/4 of an ounce to a gallon of water.

Im holding the 4 oz sample in my hand right now. Ive used it twice so far. The instructions say to use 2 oz per 5 gallons of water, well I did that the 1st time and MASSIVE suds !! Used a little less the 2nd time. Like White_F150 said, tons of lubrication. It works as expected but the shine doesnt replicate what 1Z perls give's me. Other than that, I feel this shampoo smokes the numerous other's I have tried. Tons of sud's(even toward the end of the wash) Great lubrication and darn good cleaning abilities..

whats is a soap foaming gun? :o could i put one on my regular garden hose? is there an attachmant i could get for a pressure washer? this sounds very cool, do they work well? do they use to much soap/water? Fill me in, please.
