Poorboy's Detail (mostly) 06 or 07 Volvo C70

What a nice change (from the Passat I just detailed). This is either a 06 or 07 Volvo C70 – hardtop convertible – owner has had this detailed before and I have to say the paint was in great shape. However, I was surprised at how much contamination was on the paint. The wheels, as with a lot of Volvo’s, had a ton of brake dust. The rear wheels mostly since this is a rear wheel drive car.
Process was

Wash 2 bucket method – PB’s SS&S and PB’s BS mixed 3:1
APC 10:1 for wells and tires
Clay – Ricardo blue with PB’s S&W mixed 50:50 with water
Wheels – PB’s S&R

Paint

PB’s PwC Blue with white CCS pad and PC
LSP – 1 coat 4* UPP

Tires and wells – PB’s B&B
PPB’s TR on molding and plastic (under rear bumper)

Exhaust tips – 0000 steel wool and PB’s PP2

Interior was vacuumed and dressed with PB’s NL

I have been using all metal polish by Pro for exhaust tips and crome. It works pretty well also. I will have to try pb's

You've found one unusual animal there, since the C70 is a front wheel drive car.

What do I know :wall - the owner told me that - made sense to me looking at the wheels - the back ones were loaded with dust and the fronts were almost clean. It now appears that maybe the owner needs to have his back brakes looked at.
