This F150 had some nasty wheels. 147k miles and probably never thoroughly cleaned and protected.

Since my wheel polishing tools were MIA I decided to go with a gold finger wax pocket applicator and initially tried Poorboy`s PWS, then Chrome Polish then Pro Polish 2, then Aluminum and Metal Heavy Duty Polish which did the job best.

Handed the gold finger mitt applicator to my friend and he did the other wheels while I worked on the paint.

Results were quite remarkable to say the least, lol.

It does not have a chemical smell. The scent reminds me of a breath mint.

It is pretty thick in consistency and doesn`t require you use much to get sufficient results.

These wheels look brand new now. I didn`t think the wheels were going to end up looking near this good.

I am very satisfied with this product.

Thanks for viewing.

I thought most wheels are clear coated?
Were these oxidized metal?
I am not sure. I thought it was pitted and rusted after it didnt all come off with two times of bdx/scrubbing...but progressed through my Poorboy`s wheel safe polishes and this was the highest cut one i had and it finished very well. I topped them with P808 twice afterwards for convenience.

Wow, nice save and great review. How long did all four wheels take to clean and polish?

to clean, about 30 minutes each (since I did them twice with bdx and brushes and was trying not to marr the crap out of them just banging the brushes around

to polish- once dialed in with this product- about 30 minutes a wheel

which made me and my friend wonder what I should be charging for that? because that was a little above the call of duty for the job- but at the same time- it was a resale prep so I know the wheels set the vehicle off so I wanted to make sure they did just that

I was thinking $100 is a fair price for something like we did to the wheels and that`s what I`m going with. If only I could find my stinking mothers powerball mini. No idea where it is at. I think it ran off with my PTG and when my PTG came back it left the power ball mini in the wind, haha.

That`s what I thought? I thought the last of the un-coated wheels were from the 70s / 80s. Centerlies, and classic mag wheels? Ahhh the good ol days.

Funny thing, this morning I was thinking of "finding" my old Aluminum Centerlines and giving them a go with the polish. Thank the Charger next to me that gave me that thought.

great work Brandt ... I`m sure he will get top dollar after your work

oh man I wanted to smack him and his wife in their smug faces when they kept deferring to each other asking "can you tell a difference?"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I told them I guarantee those wheels didn`t look this good NEW.

To the untrained eye, many things go unnoticed to the consumer. Wheels (especially chrome) are the first thing people notice when seeing my truck. I constantly get asked what I use to clean them and how to make them shine. It does get frustrating knowing the time you spent on them and someone says a comment like that. I don`t think a slap would have been out of the question...Great work! Looks like a solid product.

I charge $25 per wheel to polish faces, some guys are getting $50 per wheel. It really depends on location. Looks like that polish did a great job by hand, I can only imagine with a power ball or cone!
