Polish Angel Glasscoat Shampoo- Initial thoughts and observations (pic heavy)

So if I`m not working with a metallic, sounds like high gloss is the way to go?
the ti in high gloss will add some warm tones of nuba like shine but its really just cooler (than warm nuba) bling, like Ron said

if you want warmer you would need to go with Zirkon, or Rapidwaxx

Who are you???

What you do to Budget Plan ?!?!?!?!
Maybe he decided to heed his username!

Nah, that`s not it...I`m still eying the Kami Infinity Wax just for fun but not stocked at Esoteric at the moment (although shipping from England really is kinda reasonable so...er...uh...) Few reviews to be found on it, some good, some `Meh...it`s nothing special`

And I`ll keeps some PA High Gloss around for occasional use this summer.

It`s more that I wanna see how the coatings (Honda and Subie with Kami, probably gonna 22ple HPC the Vette) do without the multiple SiO2 applications.

We`ve had some nice days this winter so WRX got some frequent washes with Bathe+, then Wet Coat, then Cure or Overcoat. Maybe I SiO`d it; when I started the process to strip the WG Uber Ceramic:

1. Aggressive Wash
2. Iron X
3. Wash again while Nanoskin clay mitt
4. Polish off coating with Flex M205
5. Gyeon Prep
6. Sonax Fallout Remover
7. Wash with Nanoskin clay mitt
8. Polish with Rupes with Rupees Extra Fine Polish
9. Gyeon Prep
10. Coat

It `seemed` like each succeeding step before the M205 brought the finish a little more pop. Could it have been the lesser SiO2 products being shed from the surface? Could have been just removing unrealized winter grime too but I dunno. It was kinda like peeling back layers, but layers of what?

Likely over thinking but gonna go forward strictly to following mfg suggested reccomendations like `Weekly or more wash use Overcoat once a month` as opposed to throwing 3 SiO2 products at it with each wash.

I dunno...we`ll see and I`ll not need to look for more new product shelf space...for a while anyway.
last time I checked Overcoat was not in the cheap category either, lol

edit: 100ml for 49.99 , 250ml for 79.99 that`s pretty on par with PA`s higher end sprays

I`d sure like me some overcoat though
Yeah...not so much less money but rather less product.

Although, as I was hand-polishing the old coating outta the door jambs and tight spaces the thought of a Rupes Nano did cross my mind...still have another car to remove WG Uber from.

Hmmm...

Viking or high gloss

Viking has a wax infused & gold flakes for glow, works great on metallic colors. High Gloss is just that, sheer Gloss.
See...now you`re giving me ideas by mentioning `great on metallic`

*#! $@ you Polish Angel!

If you were here, you could use my nano

I can send you a sample of Gyeon bathe + if you want to compare it. I can tell you that I wash on panel at a time for fear of streaking. I`m told it has a very high content of "good stuff" and therefore you should wash and rinse no more than one panel at a time including the glass. I learned the hard way after my first wash. Now that I know the secret, I do really like to results when I use it. I have used it on both coated and non coated cars.

I washed a clean, de-coned car, then followed the iron x and clay with bathe + and it worked great. My friend has a big old avalanche we need to polish but we were more concerned with getting the winter off and making next time cleaning easier. Kind of need to break that job up into several steps weeks apart LOL.

PM me your mailing address and I would be happy to send you a wash worth so you can let us know how it stacks up against the PA.

Great review and you make black look easy-I know its not. Still wake up in a cold sweat some nights-LOL

200 ml flake, 200 ml rapidwaxx would be my choice for first PA purchase

I did get the high gloss in the tax sale here, but the flake piqued my interest after checking it out at polishangel.us so I also have flake and some presto heading my way
