Does Anyone Use The Paper Floor Mats To Put In A Customers Vehicle When They Are Done Detailing It?

If So, Where Might I Be Able To Get Some?

Or Do You Have A Local Place Make Them.. Tia!

I have the thick corrugated cardboard and also the plastic roll film. You need to put something in there if you're pulling the car out of your shop and delivering the vehicle to the customer outside.

I have both like John and The paper is easier and faster to just throw one in, but when I lay the plastic in it is a very nice added touch that says "I care" Most people love it.

Yep another agreement here. I also have both and I hardly touch the plastic anymore. Friggin hassle compared to the paper. I only lay down the plastic on nicer interiors I've done.

OK, I can see a use for both (and thanks for that link BobD !)

So who has the paper mats nice and cheap for those of us who don't need logos/etc. printed on them? I still have a box left over from the dealership, but I'll probably use those up eventually and I can't remember who we ordered them from (way back in the '80s).

for those of you that have used the plastic, is there a trick to making them stick? we got a roll from sid savage and those things dont stick for crap.

I have not been into Sid Savage in years. I've never heard of them mentioned here. LOL

I think most of them have a sticky side that keeps it on the carpeting.

Yeah, the dealer gets all their stickers and other odds and ends from them. The sticky side seems sticky as all get out, but just doesnt want to stick to the carpet. Took the factory plastic out of a malibu, which was on super good, tried to lay one of the ones i got on and it would not stick. A little heat seemed to make them stick, only until it cooled down though and it wasnt stuck anymore.

The salesmen love to demo everything as soon as its done, then tell us what a crappy job we did on the interior when they show a customer after they have trashed it. I was hoping the plastic mats would help some with that but they dont do much good when i cant get them to stay in place.

What I want to find, for a good price, is a place that can have my logo on them either the plastic or paper. The plastic would be ideal.

Cheers,

GREG

Since you are in Ohio. Try Jax Wax here in columbus. They have the paper mats fairly cheap for a box of 250 or 500. Know them personally, good people and products!
