Paint overspray

I have a chance at my first sort of detail work. A friend works at a factory where paint overspray landed on about six cars. He has contacted me to eliminate this problem.

I have read that clay will work well if the paint is fresh, but in this case it's been on the vehicles for over a week. Will clay still be effective?

Thanks!!!!!!

Yes it should work just right. As long as you use the right Clay with enough bite it will grab that oxidation right off. Just keep the clay lubbed and move it alot. Don't forget to bend

MMarky - There won't be any problem at all, and the clay will take it right off. I was contracted by a paint company to remove overspray from four cars a couple of months ago. My choice of clay is Clay Magic. Good Luck!

Be sure to not under-bid yourself. Auto paint jobs cost allot, and you are saving them from having to do them!!

wow, I am pumped! Thanks guys!!!:wait :wait I have an appt. with the contact person Monday.

It will be such a treat to get paid for something I enjoy doing so much :)

Thanks again for your help. I will let you know how these cars look before and after.

Auto paint jobs can be very expensive.

1- Do you have plenty of insurance just in case things do not go as easily as everyone has proclaimed?

2- Do you have any real knowledge and experience when it comes to paint overspray removal?

3- Will you be dealing directly with the owners of these vehicles? or will this be the result of an insurance claim?
