Newbie w/o clearcoat

Hello. I have a black Mercury that's 33 years old, and I'd like it to shine like a brand new car of the same color. It's a Marquis, so ordinarily it doesn't get many looks while sitting next to Gullwings and GT 500's at shows, and understandably so.

Obviously, there's no clearcoat on it, and the paint is original. It's got spiderwebing in some places, and swirlmarks in others. No really deep scratches, but some light ones. I'd appreciate any help anyone can send my way. I've read nothing but good (aside from price) about the Zaino products. I'd like to know more about their application in my case, or any other similar products or tips.

Thanks in advance. I've got a black Explorer too, so I'm sure I'll be on this site just as often as I'm at explorerforum.com.

Zaino will not help much if you have spider webbing and swirl marks.......Zaino is really intended for properly prepped paint...Ie swirl free....

I suggest you check some threads about swirl marks and spider webbing...do a few searches...tons of info should be available that may help you out.....
