Need help cleaning tires

I have really big tires. 37". I have built up tire dressings and who knows what else.

I've tried a few things to clean them, soap, Dawn detergent, windex etc.....

They are not coming clean and they're streaky. What can I use to clean my tires that will just leave them clean and not dried out?

The tire shine always comes off mine if I drive it in the rain for a ways. The front tires wont come off as clean, but the tire shine always comes off the rear.

I use Bleahe White, which is some crazy strong stuff and it never brings it all off. I would say it would take a couple times to really get it all off.

What kind of truck do you have 37" tires on!

Most APC's at full strength will do the trick. We have been using Amazing Roll-off with great sucess on the built in grime (brake dust, dirt, old tire shine). We just pre wet the tire, spray Roll-off, let it dwell for a few then go after it with a brush. The brown sludge that comes off is a real eye opener.

I have been using Eimann Fabrik Tire Cleaner. So far, I am pleased with it.

Also, Mother's makes a tire cleaner but I haven't used it.

You can get the Eimann Fabrik product here.

Thanks for the replies. I've got to try something.

Bluelibby: This is my truck. It just came out in 4x4 Builder Magazine. I built it myself, paint, mods, mechanical, you name it. I love my truck.

Don't forget to use a fairly stiff brush with the cleaner. Let the cleaner dwell a bit and then brush it with a wet scrub brush and hose it off. Works for me.

Sweet looking truck there Rose!

I wish mine looked that good.

I'm sure it took a lot of hard work, sweat and many hours to complete it.

You should be very proud of the work you have done!
