Need a new leaf blower?

John thanks for the clarification. The transition from blower to rake is a pretty big reason why I'm still considering a handheld blower. My blower eventually bogged down and using a tarp really helped to speed up the process. Like I said I don't have a big yard but I do have a lot of leaves and deal with a TON of acorns. I avg. about six -seven 32 gallon bags of acorns a season. I'm hoping the backpack blower will be strong enough to blow them in a pile rather than trying to rake them. If it can't do that then I'll consider going back to a handheld.

Coupe I looked at the Husqvarna but it doesn't have as much cfm as others.

Husqvarna 145BT - 310 cfm

WELCOME TO HUSQVARNA - 1269

Echo PB413- 380 cfm

Echo outdoor power equipment – Chain Saws, lawn care tools and more

Stihl BR340- 430 cfm

Redmax EB4401 - 671 cfm*

BackPack Blower - Blowers - RedMax / Komatsu Zenoah America, Inc.

*All of them are measurments from the pipe not the housing. The Redmax did not specifiy if it was from the housing or pipe. I'm willing to bet it is from the housing and that the pipe measurement would be lower.

The one i linked has 586 CFM, thats the only reason i was lookin at it. That redmax looks killer though.

I have alot of research to do before i buy a back pack blower.
