Poison Ivy. I have a bunch of that in my woods. I don't ever recall having any encounters with it but it sure keeps the neighbor kids out of my woods. :chuckle:

Yep, I walked through tons of it with shorts on. I tried avoiding it at first, but then realized that it would be better to just ignore it and wash my legs off when I got back to the cabin 10 minutes later.

Josh, do you have any accessories for your S2? I just ordered a macro set and neutral density filter for mine, along with a new Tamrac camera bag.

The only things I have purchased so far have been the polarizer and uv lens along with the adaptor. I havent really used my camera all too much lately with being so busy with work and buying car detailing stuff :) I hope to get more into it in the coming days again, I plan on going out on Monday to take some pictures on a trail Im taking my puppy too - I'll be sure to post them if I get any interesting ones.

I ended up going to a small park last week to take some pictures of my cousin's new truck, and couldn't believe how much wildlife was there. Deer, turkey, geese, it was like I was in a zoo and they really weren't afraid of you, I guess they're used to the humans seeing how its in a very densly populated area. Needless to say this will become my "secret place" once I get my new Canon L telephoto lens

My resized pictures don't do the turkeys justice. They look awesome enlarged on my computer.

Here's my cousin seeing how close he can get to deer. It looks like we we're in a zoo.

Jim surprisingly I've been seeing more and more in my area, I guess all the construction is pushing them around.

This is a great shot, and a great candidate for the "hand of man" category in my photo club :2thumbs:

Nice stuff everyone else, keep em coming :bigups

Wow, you guys took some very nice pictures!

I'm just starting to get into photography.....my Nikon D50 is being shipped to me as we speak. In the meantime, I'm selling my Olympus C-8080 on e-Bay and so for now, all I've got are photos using my wife's miniature point and shoot Canon SD600 (not exactly nature photos). They're just some pics I took at an outlet shopping center here in Southern California (Camarillo) while waiting for my wife.
