Mothers Reflection, is it a sealant?

I am confused about this one. So is Reflection a wax, sealant or what?

I've read posts where ppl mentioned they would use Reflection to clean up the paint a little bit. huh...

Also does it contain any abrasives? Meaning can I layer reflection one coat after another? :work:

Mothers Reflections is a sealant with some light cleaners. It can't be layered. If you want to layer you can with Mothers Reflections Top Coat. This is a sealant with some wax in it but no cleaners and can be layered over Reflections.

oops. I applied two layers of reflection to my car yesterday. Is there any ill effect?

No ill effects at all. Just realize you only have one layer on the paint because the second removed most if not all of the first layer. Actually two applications is probably better than one because you can insure that you have complete coverage. :xyxthumbs

I always apply two layers of any LSP for coverage...and regardless of cleaners or not, two always looks better than one.

I understand that the cleaners in Reflections are so minimal that its partly layerable...meaning that the second layer will remove a small amount of the previous layer but not all. To illustrate, 2 applications result in 1.5 layers, if that makes sense.

I believe several other OTC sealants with cleaners will do the same, eg. NXT.
