Similar thing happened to a friend of mine's wife last month. She was a passenger in a van. The deer jumped off a small bluff and the van hit it in midair. Came right thru the windshield. My friend's wife died of her injuries a few days later.

I lived in Newfoundland for a summer. That was the weekly Saturday paper pic. In one, a liver shot through the window and landed on the seat beside a baby in a carseat. The liver was heavier than the baby.

I see this happening a lot

Not quite sure how the story when but I think the Deer jumped off an overpass. I belive the drivers is the one in the photo becouse you can see the laceration on his fore head...(bleeding).

Both veh. have unbelievable amount damage.

i'm amazed at the damage these animals cause. i hear about this stuff happening but to see it i'm at a lost for words and will act accordingly the next time i see an animal crossing sign/deer. Thanks for posting the pics

Just a tid-bit.
A Bull Moose if I'm not mistaken is the largest North American Animal, Moose may grow to be 7 feet tall and 1500 pounds. This one don't look full grown.
The White Tail Deer rarely exceeds 42 inches (3'2") in height at the shoulders with live weight averaging around 150lbs.

When My Dad was a bit younger He had a white Tail Deer run in the drivers side of his car, Knocked him out, The driver in front of him seen it happen and let my Dad's car hit him in the rear so he would not roll in to oncoming traffic, The Police said that if he did not have a Old Caddy, with the big "B"Pillars he would have Not of made it.
