Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Spray

UPDATE, Day 12: The tires still look great. I don't know about this "black vs. deep, wet black look" but I can say that the tires look as good as a regular car in a showrrom, if not a sports car at a grand unveiling show.

The tires don't have the "wet" look but they are a nice rich black and you can clearly see from 10-12 feet away that they look nice. So I'd classify it as a nice, rich black instead of the "wet" look that was evident when the residue was still visibly present on the tires.

It appears from other posters that I should see the black/shine last at least through the month. I'll keep giving updates until I see a noticeable deterioration.

UPDATE, 3 WEEKS: The tires are blacker looking than I remember before I put the stuff on, but they no longer have that "deep, wet black" look or even the dark black look. So it looks like the Hot Tire Spray will last 3 weeks or so before you need to re-apply for that super-wet black look. Of course, the tires STILL have a rich black look to them -- remember, 2 of my tires (even though only 4 months old) had a "brownish/worn" look on the sides -- but it's clearly faded from a few weeks ago.

Most of the driving since I applied the Hot Tire Spray has been local. I have a 4 mile commute to work but drive 150-200 miles a week on average. The car is also garaged and we only had a few days of rain to my recollection.

On another note..... Poorboys EX-P seems to be working just great on my wheels. It is certainly attracting dirt/grease/grime, but the stuff is wiped off by my finger alone. It doesn't seem to be adhering to the wheel itself. I only applied 1 coat and I'll wait a few more weeks to actually clean the wheels before giving my verdict, but PB EX-P or any other sealant on your wheels seems like a no-brainer. Like I said, it might be the case that it's attracting more grease on the surface (or maybe not; guess the only way would be to do 2 wheels only and compare and I'm not gonna do that) but if it is, it sure seems (at this point) that it will all wipe off easily. S&W alone would seem to be enough at this stage; no need for Eagle A2Z.

The EX-P doesn't have PD's to my knowledge. But even so, it or AIO or SG is going on the wheels of my Honda, not the rubber tire.

Not sure if there's any PD's in the Meguiars Hot Spray, though...I know there's hexane.
