Meguiar's Direct Hot Rims® Chrome Wheel Cleaner

now that i will be dealing with the factory chrome wheels on the canyon, i have heard this is a good chrome wheel cleaner? this will be safe on my factory chrome wheels, correct? any users of this product i would like to hear from.

Yes your good on chrome with it, but its questionable on softer metals and plastic plated chrome looking parts, like your center caps if you have those. It can cloud those if your not careful

yep I agree with Beemerboy pretty good product on chrome but not much true chrome out there now days. Alot of what you think is chrome is just chrome skins.

What you can do is mix it with water 50/50 and that helps to keep plastics from clouding up

or if your looking for something safer I can make a suggestion

good points! not about to take a chance on new factory rims!! the first detail i used eagle one A TO Z wheel/tire cleaner on them. great results. no damage of course. followed up with a coat of wheel wax. just got done swapping the megs chrome for their ALL WHEEL cleaner. this way, no chance of damage. better off sticking with a all wheel formula.
