Maclaren F1 Perfected By Barry Theal @ Presidential Details

should have been done in two days man, you're getting slow! HAHAHA!!!

nice work dude, cant believe they paid you something fair, but more power to ya for sticking to your guns...I probably would have made peanuts on that job and been kicking myself for it!

reflection shots are crazy nice!

I thought polishing my company Transit Connect now and then was bad :) That thing has soo much paint, wow..

Wiat till you see my Porsche 944 I'm gonna be doing soon we pulled it out of a dealers back lot for $300.00 Its a 1984 944 I can't wait! It should be in the junk yard!

I always look forward to another Bufferbarry turd transformation. I'd think the Lancaster area would be full of ultra-shiney black buggies. Makes the orange triangles stand out. :chuckle:

Single stage or b/c metallic?

good lord look at those reflection shots! Great work Barry and I enjoyed following this one along. Owner must be happy to have such a large vehicle that looks better than 99.99% of anything he'll see on the road

Thanks Marc! Lol those were some long reflections huh! He was very happy

HaHa - Hilariously amazing!!!

Could this crystal clear finish have been duplicated w/o sanding?

What brand of and how many sanding discs did you go through?

Thanks Bud! I'm not sure about how the finish would have turned out without sanding, but it was like one big mirror in person Dave. lol It made me look skinny. I used the Norton 3000 Discs. I went threw about 10 to 15 discs. It was a fun one for sure!

I used to wash 5 of those every week for a company. I know how much work goes into those vans. Excellent finish. :bow

Thanks Thomas

:wow: Barry. not bad for a "retard" :buffing:. this guy must be loving you now. your work likely added $2-3,000+ of value to this tank for him. beautiful result.

p.s you did state that you were a "retard" for taking this job. :2thumbs:

Damn that looks good now, I dont even think they leave the factory looking that good, credit to you for this one Barry

This is the kind of job that I get half way round , arms, neck and back are aching and wish i'd never started!!!

You just know you're gonna get more of these from your customer now, every other one on his lot is gonna look bad next to this one

I love those Sprinters....they are my eye's prize as I look at a detailing rig for next year. You made this one look great Barry! I was starting to get all pissed when I saw the title...."and he didn't call me to come over and see it!!"

It isn't a Maclaren but it is a close relative so it's not a 100% lie :lol . It's a rebadged Mercedes Sprinter.

Looks great. How much time did you spend on the job?
