Looking for a polish for Polished Metal

I just got a Vortech Supercharger that is finished in polished metal. I want to shine it and make it look "newer". There are hairline scratches and cobwebbing in the metal and the overall polish is a little dull. I have used Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish, and although it does help a little, its taking way too long with little results. Will ECP be any better?

for metal that is already polished, I use Meguiar's NXT Metal Polysh (approx $8) or Mother's Billet Cream (approx. $12).

There are other products available, but I haven't tried them yet. My process is to use various diameter cotton buffing wheels on a drill for areas that I can get to and to hand rub the rest.

Very hard to remove swirls/cobwebbing in any plated metal. Something like the Mother's device or cotton buffs for a drill and a stick of various grade rouges work well as do the English Custom Polishes. I doubt I'll ever need any more metal polishes. :bow

So, I already have mothers aluminum polish, not the PowerMetal stuff. I don't have a drill available to me, so this is going to be all by hand. Will the ECP work better than the Mother's stuff or should I not waste my money.

To get you to the next level, Use Wenol red and follow with Wenol blue polish. These are not polishes that are good at taking off the rough stuff but for finishing, these are awesome. Tried Eagle One, Nevr Dull, Brasso. None shine up nearly as good as Wenol.

For the dullness, Eagle One Nevr-Dull would work wonders. But, that's a strictly chemical polish, you need an abrasive one to get out the scratches. You will probably need some sort of power tool to get them out. I've never used any, but you might want to check out the "Heavy Metal" polishes at brilexsolutions.com
