2002 BMW M5. Owner just purchased the car and wanted it protected. After looking over the car, we decided a two step polishing process would be the most bang for the buck without going too nuts. The car had light to moderate swirls and some water etching on the trunk lid and roof.

1994 Toyota Supra. This was a tough one, owner is thinking of getting it repainted eventually so he wanted as many of the defects removed without breaking the bank. The rear bumper was single stage paint, at least the left front fender had been repainted and both front fenders were scratched and scuffed up pretty bad, most likely from someone laying all over them while working on the engine.

2003 Honda S2000. Really swirled up but soft paint made it easier to bring the finish back with a couple steps. Also made it tough to finish with a microfiber pad so I had to switch to foam.

2004 Infiniti G35. Funny story about this one. Shortly after I bought my Accord, I was poking around on craigslist and saw a 6 speed G35 for sale. Silver on black. Looked to be in decent shape, only 70k miles on it. Briefly flirted with the idea of selling the Accord and buying the G35 but in the end decided I knew I had a well maintained car with the Accord and wasn't sure I could sell it quickly enough to get the G35 anyway. Fast forward to this past month. Get a call to detail a G35. Get there, see this was a 6 speed and asked him about it. He said he bought it off craigslist, only had 70k miles on it! Same exact car I'd been looking at. What are the odds?

Just a quick clean-up on this one.

2006 BMW 650 convertible. I see this one about once a year or so. I did a correction on it back in 2008 and thanks to proper washing by the owner and yearly details, the paint has not needed any hard polishing since.

2008 Acura TSX. Just a basic (1 polishing step) full detail on this daily driver. They live way out in the country and put a ton of miles on it so no point going nuts on it. Looked pretty good anyway.

It was pretty dirty...

2008 Infiniti G37 and 2008 Toyota Prius. We'd detailed the G37 a couple years ago, first time touching the Prius. The G37 could have really used a correction, owner had moved to Colorado, snow and ice being swept off the car has really swirled and scratched the paint. He had brought the car back to Texas for his parents to sell for him, not really the best time of the year to sell one in Denver, I guess. His parents called him and he said since he was selling the car, he just wanted it clean and shiny. The Prius was in excellent shape, the paint really didn't show any swirling.

Same process as the TSX on the Infiniti, just the exterior process on the Prius (just vacuumed the inside of that one).

Great work Scott. I really like the way the BMW turned out. That PC/microfiber combo seems to do the trick. I hope to try microfiber on the Cyclo soon.

Great efforts here, Scott! I like the mostly original red Supra and the black paint on the S2000 looks fantastic. Land Cruiser looks like a jem, too !!

What's this opti raser you speak of sir? Beta testing?

Its a chunk of foam with tacky rubber on one side. Works like clay, seems to last longer. The purple (aggressive) one is pretty stout and doesn't mar like traditional aggressive clay does.

Scott I enjoy reading your post and your straightforward approach to detailing, using products you know work and achieving great results. Great work!--Jamie

Scottwax: Since you've been using ONR for so long and on so many different cars, is there any vehicle that you wouldn't use it on?

Why I ask, I'm about to put a lot of effort into correcting my old Jag and don't want to undo my efforts with my wash techniques.
